Anti-racist counter protest this tomorrow, as fascists plan to harass refugees.

Last summer, we saw a similar far-right mobilisation in Rotherham with the racists setting fire to a hotel with people trapped inside.

And now they intend to gather again at another hotel in South Yorkshire. We must refuse to let them mobilise in our communities. Let's show that Sheffield welcomes refugees and rejects racists!

Please come tomorrow to show our rejection of the hatred of the far right. Gather in the vicinity of Blonk St, S1 2AB from midday and keep your eyes peeled!

HOW TO START A CULTURE WAR? Surely every true-born Englishman has by now downed a pint of Coronation ale, got the ladder out of the shed, and using British-made cable ties, tethered a flag to a lamp post in their street. Palestine Action Solidarity Mobilisation Sheffield

On Thursday 26th June, several SCARFers attended the Palestine Action (PA) solidarity demonstration outside Sheffield Town Hall. A few hundred people turned out to voice their opposition to the government's intention to proscribe PA – effectively labelling anyone associated with, or expressing support for, the movement a terrorist. This authoritarian attempt to silence dissent needs to be resisted, but it's also a sign of desperation and a state acknowledgement of the effectiveness of PA's tactics. SCARF offers its wholehearted support and solidarity for PA's aims and the tactics they employ towards ending the UK's complicity in a genocide. Definitely Maybe Fascists in Manchester – Britain First 2nd August 2025

On Saturday 2 nd August Britain First (BF) marched 500 or so fascists through the centre of Manchester. Some recent hotel anti-migrant protests have capitalised on actual fears and grievances, occasionally muddying the waters between genuinely concerned (albeit it largely misinformed) locals, and racist shit stirrers and far right activists. There can be no such doubt about last weekend's event. Former National Front activist Paul Golding and his cosplaying weirdos are not shy about their political positions. While wrapped in a veneer of plastic patriotism and faux Christianity, their message is unabashedly hateful, ultranationalist, and white supremacist. Those who gathered behind their 'Remigration' banner are either committed fascists or complete morons.
